Sunday, May 20, at 10:00 a.m.
Following his first year of seminary in 2011, David Finnegan-Hosey checked himself into a mental health hospital in the midst of a breakdown. In his words,“On the psych ward, in a place often surrounded by a wall of stigma and silence, I met Christ.”
David will be at West Market Church on Sunday, May 20, to share his story. David’s book, Christ in the Psych Ward will be featured in the Greensboro Bound Literary Festival that weekend. The Transitions class, room 417, will host David and invites members of the congregation to hear David and share his experience. David is the son of Gary and Marion Hosey and is currently the chaplain-in-residence at Georgetown University.
