MONTHLY RESPITE PROGRAM
Once a month, West Market Church offers Nathaniel’s Hope Buddy Break to the Greensboro community. Buddy Break is a free kids program where kids with special needs (VIP kids) make new friends, have fun playing games, hear and see great children’s stories, videos, music and more! Siblings have fun too! Meanwhile, their caregivers get a break from their ongoing care-giving responsibilities usually for three hours. At least one nurse is always in attendance to assist us in taking the best care possible of your VIP. To see what Buddy Break is all about here at West Market Church, check out our video.
The next Buddy Break in Greensboro is just around the corner (see details below) and we need your help. Wondering how? Want to be involved? Being able to play can cross all ages and disabilities, that’s all that’s needed, no background required.
Can you help set up the Friday before BB?
Do you have tech skills you can lend?
Can you help with volunteers?
Can you help with the craft room during BB?
Do you have connections in town and willing to ask for various help from those connections?
Can you help make a craft or prepare a craft and all of the pieces needed?
Would you be willing to make some specific activities?
