Love God. Serve Others.

Through Missional Engagement, we serve alongside our neighbors to help make lives better and share the love and grace of Jesus with all.

Our core areas of Missional Engagement: College Student Connection, Immigrant & Refugee Support, Affordable Housing, and Food Insecurity address real needs while building relationships, creating hope, and strengthening our community. Together, we can use our time, gifts, and resources to love our neighbors and make a lasting impact. We encourage everyone to get involved and share your passion to make a difference!

Love in Action.

We continue to support and resource many local partners that include Greensboro Urban Ministry, college food pantries, Backpack Beginnings, and Simple Gesture through our events like the Egg Hunt for Good, our musical concerts, and our bi-monthly Simple Gesture Food Drives where the food is picked up at your front door. While we are making great progress and contributions, there is still much work to be done to ensure healthy and sustainable food resources for families of Greensboro.

Food Insecurity

Our work continues with other local partners in our support of the Interfaith Housing Initiative (an ecumenical, non-profit focused on affordable housing for families). Everyone should have the comforts of a place to call home. Join us in this important initiative to create better lives for families across GSO.

Affordable Housing

College Student Connection

West Market is committed to making meaningful connections with those attending local universities and colleges around shared mission and serving efforts. Our Egg Hunt for Good has raised money and donations for local college food pantries and supported on campus food insecurity initiatives.

Immigrant & Refugee Support

West Market and our Social Justice & Advocacy Ministry are raising informed awareness and engagement through both learning opportunities and advocacy. Future initiatives are being developed by this new, and growing team. Help make a difference to Greensboro’s immigrant and refugee community in need of love, support, and guidance.

Get Involved in Missional Engagement

There are so many ways to turn your faith into action through our Missional Engagement initiatives and make a meaningful difference across the Greensboro community we love and serve. When we come together with compassion, generosity, and a heart for others, God can use ordinary acts of service to do extraordinary things.

Social Justice & Advocacy Ministry

Put your faith into action by helping create a more just, compassionate, and caring community. Our Social Justice & Advocacy Ministry brings people together to learn about important issues, advocate for our neighbors, and seek meaningful ways to reflect the love, mercy, and justice of Jesus in our community and beyond.

There’s a place for your voice and your passion. Join us and help make a difference!
