• Chancel Choir

    As the "heartbeat" of our 11am Traditional Worship Service, the Chancel Choir shares anthems and leads congregational singing. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 7-8:15pm in Room 317 and the Sanctuary, and Sundays at 10:30am in Room 317. Singers from high school youth to adults are all welcome!

  • Rising West Praise Team

    Rising West, our band led by Music Director Marshall Johnson, is the beating heart of our Modern Worship service. The band consists of a mix of professional and amateur musicians who represent the diversity of our congregation and strives for inclusion while maintaining high musical standards.

  • Children's Choir

    At West Market Street UMC, our Children’s Choir provides an opportunity for children to sing, move, and play instruments to worship God with Dreama Lovitt, our Director of Music for Traditional Worship. This program meets on Sunday nights from 5:00-5:45pm in Room 316 and is for children ages 5 years old - 5th grade.

  • Instrumental Ensemble

    Calling all woodwind players, brass players, strings and more! This intergenerational group is made up of different players almost every time we play, and the music is tailored to provide a fun yet rewarding experience to the musicians. We schedule 5 to 6 rehearsals before a playing date at the discretion of the participating musicians.   • MarketBell Ringers

    The MarketBell Ringers is a cheerful group dedicated to sharing worshipful handbell music. This ensemble is open to ringers from high school youth to adults who wish to worship God through music. Rehearsals are on Mondays from 6-7pm in Room 316.

    For those interested in learning to Ring Handbells and Handchimes, numerous sessions will be held throughout this fall on Mondays from 5:15-6pm in Room 316. Contact dreama@westmarketchurch.org for more information.

  • Sing the Fauré REQUIEM!

    As a short-term commitment opportunity, join the Chancel Choir at Wednesday night rehearsals, 7-8:15pm, in the 3rd Floor Choir Room as we prepare Gabriel Fauré's beautiful REQUIEM to share with the congregation as part of our All Saints Service on Sunday, November 5, at the 11am Service.
