MODERN WORSHIP @ THE CORNER
Our Modern Worship takes place on Sunday mornings at 9am @ The Corner and is also available via Facebook. This service brings together contemporary worship music, scripture, prayer, and a message relating the Bible to everyday life. Rising West, our modern worship band, leads worshipers in expressing faith through meaningful songs pointing to the wonder of God and the power of the gospel for our lives. The sermon brings home the truth of Christ’s teachings and the character of the God we worship. In addition, Holy Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of every month at all services.
GET INVOLVED
TECH CREW
The Tech Crew plays a vital role in worship, running and maintaining sound, lighting, and projection equipment. Team members need a professional mindset and a can-do attitude! If you are the creative type, maybe consider designing worship slides for projection. The Tech Team attends rehearsals as well as services, and we are always seeking new team members to train – just stop by the booth and ask how you can get involved!
PREP CREW
The Prep Crew helps set up the coffee and goodies before church on Sunday morning, so if you are blessed with the gift of Hospitality, we have a need you can fill! The Prep Crew also checks the prayer tables and puts out worship supplies, friendship pads, and announcement sheets. We also need Greeters/Ushers to welcome folks to the service and help collect the morning offering.
PRAYGROUND
For those with wiggles and happy feet, a Prayground is an engaging place for families to worship together. The space is supplied with a rug, quiet toys, books, puzzles, drawing materials, and other tangible ways for children to spend time with God and is available in both the Fellowship Hall for our 9 am Modern Worship and the Sanctuary for our 11 am Traditional Worship. If desired, Nursery care remains available for our littlest ones (age 0-4) during both worship services in Room 224.
