Habitat has started their 7th Building on Faith Sponsored House at 2200 Charles Harshaw Ave. for The Ahmed and Mohammed Family. Our church has donated funds and now we need volunteers to help build on Saturday, November 13.

Greensboro will be the site of resettlement in the next several weeks for individuals and families leaving Afghanistan. If you would like to be part of a team who will help with this resettlement, volunteer here.

Volunteers are needed to help serve breakfast to the homeless residents of Greensboro Urban Ministry. WMSUMC Volunteers join Volunteers from Believers Missionary Baptist Church to serve breakfast on the 4th Saturday of each month from 6-8 a.m.

Volunteers are needed to deliver Mobile Meals on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. The hot meals are delivered to shut-ins in Guilford County, and are often the only meal they receive for that day. Deliveries take about 2 hours to complete.

The Care for Creation ministry is involved in working with West Market Church to become better stewards of God's creation. We are currently looking for volunteers to help us with a community tree planting as part of the Greensboro Beautiful's Neighborhoods program on November 6. Each month volunteers in our church send a birthday card to those in our congregation who are 60 years or older. You can supply your cards and stamps or the church can help with these supplies for the approximately 6 people you are asked to send cards to each month.
